What this course covers
Understand requirements of Perform basic cleaning of washrooms (CLG-CPR-101E-1) with the knowledge and skills required in daily cleaning and removing soilage from sanitary fixtures, fittings, toilet floors, and replenishing consumables in sanitary area.
What you will be able to do
In completion of this unit, the learner will have knowledge and application skills in the workplace. This includes:
- Prepare for work activities
- Remove dust, debris, soilage and spillage from sanitary fixtures and fittings, toilet walls/ partitions and toilet floors
- Clean toilet floors
- Clean toilet walls/ partitions and surfaces with high user contact
- Replenish consumable items in sanitary area
- Reinstate work area
Entry requirements
- Able to understand simple English, equivalent to WPLN Level 2
- No formal academic qualification is required
