FAQ

Am I eligible for course funding?

It depends on the course and on you. Every course page shows four categories - full fee, Singapore Citizens below 40 with Permanent Residents and LTVP+ holders, Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above, and SME-sponsored employees - with the fee for each. All funding is subject to eligibility, which we confirm before enrolment. GST is charged on the full course fee and is not covered by funding.

Are there entry requirements?

They vary by course and each course page lists its own. Most state a minimum education level, a workplace literacy level, or the ability to read and write in the language the course is taught in.

How are courses delivered?

As Classroom, E-learning, or Classroom + E-Learning. Each course page states its mode of training, and some courses run in both English and Mandarin.

How long is a course?

Course pages give the training hours, and the number of days where the schedule sets one. Courses in the catalogue run from a few hours to four days.

What happens after I enquire?

Your enquiry goes to the team that handles it. Course questions reach Digital@ascendo.edu.sg; corporate training, general support and certificate requests each have their own route, listed on the contact page. We confirm which funding applies to you before you commit to anything.

Where are courses held?

At 9 Little Road, Chinatown Point and Mountbatten. Full addresses are on the training locations page. Some courses run online instead - the course page says which.
