The course covers the key trends and emerging technologies in the digital economy and the skills demand for workers to have fundamental digital skillsets. Participants will engage in scenario-based learning through a fun and interactive approach, gaining hands-on experience of selected digital tools and applications.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • 1. Explore the use of in-demand digital tools and applications
  • 2. Use data analytics to study trends to support decision making
  • 3. Explore how automation can enhance business operations
  • 4. Perform digital related tasks safely by recognizing the cybersecurity risks and taking cautionary steps.

  • No formal qualification is required. Participant should have the ability to converse, read & write in English.

  • The course fee is S$360 before GST, per participant.
  • It will be S$388.80 (inclusive of 8% GST) per participant in 2023 and S$392.40 (inclusive of 9% GST) per participant from 2024 onwards.
  • Funding will be provided for the course fee (eligible for Singaporeans, PRs and LTVP+ holders only):
  • Singaporean Aged 21-40 years / PRs / Non-SME - Up to 70% course fees
  • Singaporean Aged above 40 years / MCES / SME - Up to 90% course fees

  • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fees payable after funding.

  • Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Completion by Ascendo Academy upon passing a written assessment and assignment administered by Ascendo Academy.

  • Full Refund will be made if the course is cancelled due to lack of participants or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Any cancellations made after closing date (14 days to course date) –No Refund.
  • Any cancellations made before closing date (14 days to course date) –Full Refund.
  • Ascendo Academy reserves the right to cancel, reschedule the course, amend course content if necessary.
