On completion of this unit, learners will acquire the knowledge and abilities in preparing intermediate level pastry products that require some level of attention to details and complexity in techniques. This includes both the specialised and soft skills for them to perform their job roles effectively and efficiently, as well as adapt to evolving industry with the changing trends and appetites of Singapore consumers. These skills have also been carefully selected to promote the development or enhancement of horizontal skills for mobility within the industry.
