Advanced Bread Preparation (Level 3) (Classroom & Asynchronous)
On completion of this unit, learners will acquire the knowledge and abilities in directing the preparation of advanced level of breads that require a certain level of attention to details and complexity in techniques involved in the baking process.
- At the end of the course learners are expected to be able to:
- 1. Bake sourdough in accordance with the industrial standards,
- 2. Bake artisan bread in accordance with the industrial standards,
- 3. Bake decorative bread in accordance with the industrial standards.
- a) Be above 21 years of age.
- b) Have basic knowledge and experience of bread preparation and no experience in preparing advanced range of bread products or completed basic bread preparation.
- c) Have developed Listening and Speaking of Basic English. Bilingual trainer and learning aids in Malay/Chinese will be used to assist learners weaker in English.
- The course fee is S$1296.00 (incl 8% GST) per participant.
- To help companies and individuals offset the cost of training, SSG will provide funding for the course fee (eligible Singaporeans, PRs or LTVP+ holders only).
- INDIVIDUALS - Up to 70% course fee
- SME - Up to 70% course fee
- NON-SME- Up to 50% course fee
- Assessment will be conduct via Written Assessment and Practical Performance Assessment.
- Trainer : Trainee Ratio - 1 : 20
- Lectures, Group Discussions, Hands-on Practical, Trainer-led Demonstration
- Full Refund will be made if the course is cancelled due to lack of participants or unforeseen circumstances.
- Any cancellations made after closing date (14 days to course date) – No Refund
- Any cancellations made before closing date (14 days to course date) – Full Refund
