The primary objective of this course is to train and equip learners with the necessary knowledge and skillsets to assume the role of Environmental Control Coordinator (ECC). This will enable them to assist Premises manager with the implementation of the Environmental Sanitation Programme that is in line with the sector specific mandatory standards stipulated under the Environmental Sanitation (ES) Regime.

Course Objectives

This course addresses the following learning units:
Environmental Public Health Act
Roles and Responsibilities of Environmental Control Coordinators (ECCs)
Indoor Air Quality
Overview of Infectious diseases infection prevention and control
General Cleaning and Disinfection
Pest Management

Admission Criteria

Learners should be able to read, listen, write and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5

Course Fees and Funding

The course fee is S$396.00 (excl 8% GST) per participant.
To help companies and individuals offset the cost of training, SSG will provide funding for the course fee (eligible Singaporeans, PRs and LTVP+ holders only) and absentee payroll.
INDIVIDUALS - Up to 70% course fee and absentee payroll
SME - Up to 70% course fee and up to S$25 per training hour
NON-SME- Up to 50% course fee and up to S$17 per training hour

Assessment

Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Completion awarded by Ascendo Academy upon passing an oral/written examination and practical assessment administered by Ascendo Academy.
Attending and passing the ECC course will not automatically lead to a successful registration as an ECC with the National Environment Agency.

Cancellation and Refund

Full Refund will be made if the course is cancelled due to lack of participants or unforeseen circumstances.
Any cancellations made after closing date (14 days to course date) – No Refund
Any cancellations made before closing date (14 days to course date) – Full Refund
Ascendo Academy reserves the right to cancel, reschedule the course, amend course content if necessary.
