Workplace Safety and Health for Food and Beverage Operations (Level 3)


This course will equip managers and supervisors in the food services industry with the knowledge and abilities to supervise the implementation of safe work practices and to maintain risk control measures at the workplace.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • Course Objectives
  • 1. Interpret the WSH legal and requirements for the food services industry
  • 2. Implement WSH training and promotional programmes
  • 3. Conduct WSH inspections and intervene when WSH practices are compromised
  • 4. Implement control measures, identify safety gaps and contribute towards improving WSH outcomes.
  • 5. Investigate incidents and prepare incident reports

  • 1. Age 21 and above
  • 2. At least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • 3. Workplace Literacy for English at Level 3 and above

  • The course fee is S$529.20 (incl 8% GST) per participant.
  • To help companies and individuals offset the cost of training, SSG will provide funding for the course fee (eligible Singaporeans, PRs or LTVP+ holders only).
  • INDIVIDUALS - Up to 70% course fee
  • SME - Up to 70% course fee
  • NON-SME- Up to 50% course fee

  • Participants will be awarded a Statement of Attainment by SSG upon passing an oral/written examination and practical assessment administered by Ascendo Academy.

  • Full Refund will be made if the course is cancelled due to lack of participants or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Any cancellations made after closing date (14 days to course date) – No Refund
  • Any cancellations made before closing date (14 days to course date) – Full Refund
  • Ascendo Academy reserves the right to cancel, reschedule the course, amend course content if necessary.
