Customer Service Excellence for Food Services (Level 1)


This course enables workers in the food services industry to enhance their service skills to build stronger relationships with customers. They will be able to anticipate and address customer needs, handle service challenges, and have a willingness to go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • Project a professional image and persona
  • Cater to the needs and expectations of customers
  • Demonstrate the qualities of a service professional
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills
  • Provide personalized service based on customer’s preferred choice
  • Escalate areas of improvements and service challenges

  • 18 years of age and above
  • Able to speak, understand, read and write simple English
  • No formal academic qualifications and no other pre-requisites is required

  • The course fee is S$205.20 (incl 8% GST) per participant.
  • To help companies and individuals offset the cost of training, SSG will provide funding for the course fee (eligible Singaporeans, PRs or LTVP+ holders only).
  • INDIVIDUALS - Up to 70% course fee
  • SME - Up to 70% course fee
  • NON-SME- Up to 50% course fee

  • Participants will be awarded a Statement of Attainment by SSG upon passing an oral/written examination and practical assessment administered by Ascendo Academy.

  • Full Refund will be made if the course is cancelled due to lack of participants or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Any cancellations made after closing date (14 days to course date) – No Refund
  • Any cancellations made before closing date (14 days to course date) – Full Refund
  • Ascendo Academy reserves the right to cancel, reschedule the course, amend course content if necessary.
