Guard and Patrol (Provide Guard and Patrol Services)
Previously known as: WSQ Provide Guard and Patrol Services
This unit has been designed primarily to equip learners with the knowledge, application skills and attitude in Providing Guard and Patrol Services and be able to apply them to the workplace. This unit is within the Competency Category of Provide Security Operation Services and is one of the modules leading to the WSQ Certificate in Security Operations.
- Preparing work activities
- Guarding static position
- Handling telephone calls and lost-and-found properties
- Patrolling premises
- Making reports and hand over duties
- Able to speak simple English
- The course fee is S$220 (excl 7% GST) per participant.
- To help companies and individuals offset the cost of training, SSG will provide funding for the course fee (eligible Singaporeans, PRs or LTVP+ holders only) and absentee payroll.
- INDIVIDUALS (SGP 40 y/o and above) / SME / MCES - Up to 70% course fee and absentee payroll
- INDIVIDUALS (SGP between 21-39 y/o & SPR) / NON-SME - Up to 50% course fee and absentee payroll
- Participants will be awarded a Statement of Attainment by SSG upon passing an oral/written examination and practical assessment administered by POLWEL Co-operative Society Limited.
- Full Refund will be made if the course is cancelled due to lack of participants or unforeseen circumstances.
- Any cancellations made after closing date (14 days to course date) –No Refund
- Any cancellations made before closing date (14 days to course date) –Full Refund
- Ascendo Academy reserves the right to cancel, reschedule the course, amend course content if necessary.
