Complex Sushi Mastery (Level 2)


Learners with basic skills on sushi preparation can take their skills to the next level to prepare more complex traditional Japanese sushi dishes.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • By the end of the course learners will be able to:
  • 1. Prepare sushi rice according to recipe and methods
  • 2. Cook California Maki, Mango Maki and Dragon Maki according to industry standards
  • 3. Cook sushi cake according to industry standards

  • a) 18 years old and above
  • b) Possess basic sushi preparation skills
  • c) Primary education
  • d) Workplace Literacy & Numeracy level: At least level 2 (listening/speaking )
  • No formal academic qualifications required as this course is suitable for rank-and-file F&B kitchen staff

  • The course fee is S$700 (excl 8% GST) per participant.
  • To help companies and individuals offset the cost of training, SSG will provide funding for the course fee (eligible for Singaporeans, PRs and LTVP+ holders only):
  • Singaporean Aged 21-40 years / PRs / Non-SME - Up to 50% course fees
  • Singaporean Aged above 40 years / MCES / SME - Up to 70% course fees

  • Participants will be awarded a Statement of Attainment by SSG upon passing assessment administered by Ascendo Academy.

  • Full Refund will be made if the course is cancelled due to lack of participants or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Any cancellations made after closing date (14 days to course date) – No Refund
  • Any cancellations made before closing date (14 days to course date) – Full Refund
  • Ascendo Academy reserves the right to cancel, reschedule the course, amend course content if necessary.
